Accredited Network Construction & Maintenance

At Riverina Power, we provide Level 1 ASP work in Wagga Wagga for contractors, developers and network buyers who need accredited construction or maintenance on the Essential Energy network. Our scope includes overhead and underground powerline construction, high voltage maintenance and private defect rectification for powerlines and poles. Kyle Linsell also holds a cable jointing ticket, supporting work across Level 1 and Level 2 activities.

Where a project requires Level 3 design, that design is supplied by a Level 3 designer. We receive the completed design, quote the construction scope and build from it; we do not currently provide Level 3 design in-house. Frequently Asked Questions

Level 1 ASP work covers accredited construction and maintenance on the Essential Energy network, including overhead and underground powerline construction, high voltage maintenance and relevant private defects. The exact scope depends on the project design or defect notice supplied.

Where Level 3 design is required, a Level 3 designer supplies the completed design. The Level 1 construction scope can then be quoted and built from that design.

The Level 1 side covers private powerlines and private poles on rural, commercial and industrial properties. A defect notice is reviewed to confirm what rectification work is required.

What Our Level 1 ASP Work Covers

Our Level 1 accreditation covers network-side construction, maintenance and rectification within the scope supplied for the job.

  • Essential Energy Network Work: We carry out accredited Level 1 construction and maintenance where the project sits on the Essential Energy network. We work from the defined network and project requirements.
  • Overhead & Underground Construction: We build overhead and underground powerline infrastructure from supplied designs. We'll quote the construction scope once the design and job requirements are available.
  • High Voltage Maintenance: We're available for planned high voltage maintenance and industrial shutdown work. This gives contractors and network buyers a Level 1 delivery option for scheduled maintenance scopes.
  • Private Defect Rectification: We'll rectify Level 1 defects involving private powerlines and private poles on rural, commercial and industrial properties. Our team will review the defect notice before quoting the required work.
