Property Connections and Service Line Work

At Riverina Power, we provide Level 2 ASP work in Wagga Wagga for homeowners, builders and rural property owners who need their property connected to the network or an existing service changed. Our scope includes overhead and underground service line installation and connection, disconnection and reconnection, new home connections, redundant services and private defect rectification on the service line side. Kyle Linsell also holds a cable jointing ticket.

Where a job requires Level 3 design, a Level 3 designer supplies it before we quote and build from the completed design. We do not currently provide Level 3 design in-house. Where Level 3 design is required, it is supplied by a Level 3 designer. The Level 2 construction and connection work can then be quoted and built from that completed design.

What Our Level 2 ASP Work Covers

Level 2 work covers the connection between the network and your property, including new services, changes to existing services and relevant defect notices.

  • Service Line Installation & Connection: We install and connect overhead and underground service lines for properties and new homes. The work depends on your property and the project requirements you supply.
  • Disconnection & Reconnection: When your job needs a planned supply change, we disconnect and reconnect existing service lines as a defined Level 2 job.
  • New Homes & Redundant Services: We connect new houses and decommission old services that have become redundant. We can plan both as part of the same property connection.
  • Private Defect Rectification: We rectify Level 2 defects involving service lines, the private pole to the property and the point of attachment. We review your defect notice before we quote.
